About BrandIndex

In any sector, things will be happening every single day: a new product is launched, an advertising campaign begins, a PR disaster occurs – maybe a strategic PR campaign to change a brand’s image begins. Whatever it is, you will want to know exactly what effect it’s having on your own and on your competitor brands. All trends begin somewhere and with BrandIndex, you can spot trends as soon as they happen, not when it’s too late.

BrandIndex is a daily measure of public perception of more than 1,100 consumer brands across 32 sectors, measured on a 7-point profile: general impression, ‘buzz’, quality, value, corporate reputation, customer satisfaction and whether respondents would recommend the brand to a friend. 2,000 British adults 18+ are interviewed daily, giving more than half a million interviews per year. Respondents are drawn from our online panel of over 200,000. BrandIndex takes high-quality, high-relevance data and puts it straight into the hands of decision-makers, so the reporting tool has been designed to suit the style of decision-makers: it’s clear, it’s easy and it’s instant.

About YouGov

Founded in May 2000, YouGov is a professional market research agency pioneering the use of the Internet and information technology to collect higher-quality in-depth data for market research and public consultation.

YouGov has pro-actively recruited respondents from all ages, socio economic groups and regions of Britain. The sample for each survey is carefully selected and controlled so that it is representative of the adult population as a whole - or the specific audience that the survey is designed to measure.

Because of our online data collection methodology, YouGov's data is of higher quality and our cost base is lower than that required by the use of conventional market research techniques. This means that YouGov can pass on this cost savings to its clients. YouGov offers unprecedented value for money.

YouGov offers a full market research and consultancy service, collaborating with other agencies in Britain and abroad.
